Modernization of production of polyolefins is completed

In September, SIBUR completed modernization of the production of polyolefins at Tomskneftekhim, where LLC SNEMA-SERVIS acted as a key contractor and performed variety of commissioning work.

Modernization of polyethylene and high pressure polypropylene, that began in 2012 will increase its capacity to 270 thousand tons and 140 thousand tons per year, respectively. The core meaning of modernization of the production is a new quality and range of product. It will give the opportunity to substitute significant volumes of imported polymers on the Russian market, used in the fields of housing maintenance and utilities, road construction, package and consumer goods. The project was implemented with government support, the total investment in the project exceeded 10 billion rubles.
